UK blood banks are experiencing a national shortage so why wouldn't you donate blood for the chance to win the latest makeup products?
Beauty brand Lottie London has launched a Blood for Beauty initiative where it will likely be accepting blood donation as 'payment' for its new Love Sucks range.
In response to the NHS experiencing a national blood shortage, the makeup brand is encouraging its 'Lottie squad' to donate during the month of October to get their on the job the Lottie X Vampire Diaries collection.
Statistics show that, in the united kingdom, a million more blood donors are needed over the next 5 years to ensure patients receive the right type of blood to save and improve their lives.
There is a particular need for Black African, Black Caribbean and younger donors.
So why not do your part for that NHS while also obtaining the latest makeup products?
Lottie London is offering a lot more than lb4,000 worth of products, in the end.
Appreciation for that initiative has exploded in the comments on social media – with one particularly appreciative user sharing their story.
Bluebella77 commented that they had a life-saving blood transfusion after the birth of the first child, saying they might not be here without it.
They said: 'Well done for the initiative to try and get more blood donors. If only I possibly could donate but I am not allowed because of my transfusion. I hope your initiative inspires some amazing people – who can save an existence – to donate.'
