KVD Beauty Good Apple Concealer review – could it be worth the hype?

Having dark under eyes that no amount of sleep cure means I'm fussy about concealer and also have tried all of them.

Last year, beauty TikTok lost its mind over KVD Beauty's Good Apple Foundation Balm – a creamy pot formula that gave medium to full dental coverage plans and in a fairly matte finish.

Despite the hype, we missed so that it is the very best for dried-out skin, by using it responsible for clinging to dry patches and searching cakey.

Nonetheless, full beat glam fans adored it, so it would often become unattainable. It masks spots and pigmentation well, making it great for some skin concerns.

Now, the brand has launched KVD Beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full dental coverage plans Concealer, so given the hype, so we put it to the test.

The claims are bold: lightweight and full coverage. Usually full cover goods are thicker and heavy.

Here's the way the concealer lives up to its popular sister product.

For a start, you will see the shade match wasn't quite suitable for me – it had been too yellow and slightly too deep.

I couldn't wear it sans any other base makeup because of this. As it is so pigmented, you ought to get the match spot on if you wish to put it on without foundation.

But with foundation, the colour tone was a success.

The range overall includes a significant amount of shades, going from light to deep having a mix of undertones.

The claims of it being lightweight and full cover are nearly true: it's fluid, lightweight but gives high coverage that isn't quite full.

My under eye circles were certainly lightened but not completely covered – though after i had foundation on too, these were fairly well disguised.

For such a pigmented product however, it's impressive how easy it is to blend in and make up without them looking heavy.

High coverage products can frequently struggle here.

After hours of wear, I didn't find it settled into fine lines much either, which makes it a good workhorse style product.

Unlike the building blocks, this feels suitable for dried-out skin in addition to combination and oily, therefore it is likely to work for more people.

The other thing to note is the finish, that is mostly matte.

Had there been a slight light-reflective quality, dark patches would have been brightened even more.

The insufficient this may however allow it to be ideal for spot concealing – that was one of the main sells of the matching foundation.

This might be the lesser famed product of the two in the Good Apple range, but I'd argue it's the modern-day and well-rounded formulation.

Would I continue using it? Yes, specially in the summer when tanned.
