Your body Shop moves into wellness with a science-backed sleep range

In 2023, insomnia was Googled more than ever before around the world.

A WSGN report found 52% of millennials cannot sleep due to stress.

There's clearly a problem with the quality in our slumber, and now The Body Shop have branched in to the wellness space to assist those struggling to sleep.

As well as being good for wellbeing, the ecu Sleep Center says that the quality and duration of sleep effects our skin health.

In a current Korean study, skin texture was 'damaged' and skin 'gloss' reduced
after four nights of sleep deprivation.

For both the body and minds, sleep is essential.

The pandemic worsened sleep quality too, with sleep a recurring issue throughout lockdowns.

Now we're seeing the light after the tunnel – so it's time to get our sleeping patterns back into gear.

Having partnered with the European Sleep Centre, The Body Shop's new sleep range has their seal of approval.

Products include a pillow mist, body cream, acrylic blend, shower gel and scrub.

Maxime Elbaz, doctor of neuroscience at the European Sleep Centre says: 'Forming new habits and bedtime rituals is the best way to reset our sleep cycles.

'If “sleep re-education” measures are not put in place, we will see later on the emergence of more sleep issues for example insomnia leading to psychological fragility such as depression and anxiety.'
